The Guild is stronger the more of the profession stands behind it. Membership is open to professional tattoo artists working in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Membership of the New Zealand Tattooists Guild Inc. is for practising, professional tattoo artists working in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is a professional body, not a public directory or a hobbyist group.
By joining, you add your name to a shared standard of skill, conduct and care, and you help give the profession a stronger, more credible voice in the conversations that affect it, from health and safety to how tattooing is regulated and represented.

Applications are considered by the committee, which may accept or decline an application at its discretion. This keeps membership meaningful and protects the standing of everyone who holds it.
Applying is straightforward. Download and complete the membership application form, then return it to the Guild.
Complete the form, sign the declaration, and return it by email or post using the details on the form.
