Privacy statement

How the Guild handles the personal information you share with us.

This statement explains how the New Zealand Tattooists Guild Inc. ("the Guild", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to give us. That includes:

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to consider and administer membership applications, and to keep in contact with members about the Guild. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where it is necessary to run the Guild or where the law requires it.

How it is handled

Contact form submissions on this website are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to us by email. Email we receive is held in the Guild's email account. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to limit access to it.

How long we keep it

We keep membership records for as long as you are a member and for a reasonable period afterwards, as set out in our constitution. General enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. To make a request, or if you have any concern about how we handle your information, contact us at newzealandtattooistsguild@gmail.com.

We may update this statement from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
